Longrono to Carrion de los Condes
All I can say is whoa! I have met some amazing people, seen some amazing sights, and done some amazing things! I love everything about the camino! Even if my feet hurt a little bit, it’s still amazing how the body responds to the mind! Body hurts but mind says keep going body stops hurting and just goes! It is so cool! Also whilst in Carrion de los Condes I was walking around and went into sniff some flowers. Well what a sniff in the right direction! This place had everything in it including an organic all natural aloe Vera coconut oil balm for blisters and dry skin. I snagged some up because my heels were hurting a bit and opening up on the side. Just once in the night and again in the morning and my feet were fine! Natural is always the answer, forget blister block just use some natural goodness! So besides my heels drying out and start to crack which was caught in time and taken care of, my blisters on my two toes are healing well. My only pain right now comes from my arch from all this walking. It is on my right side which makes sense because I was compensating earlier this year for a radically sprained ankle from a spartan race. All in all I feel good and the best part is I feel strong!
What else is new? Well I started to get up early in the morning and start walking in the dark! I enjoy the mystery and not being able to see the arrows and markings and just going with to your instinct. I have to put down much thanks to all my friends in Costa Rica who let me in to their adventure lifestyle. I love it! The mornings make me so excited and feel like I’m bursting with joy throughout everywhere! I know it is just me screaming for joy and spinning around with my arms wide sprung, but that moment can be felt around the world! So beautiful so amazing! Just like my whole camino experience! Thanks to everyone for supporting me and helping me achieve my dream of changing the world the heel slap chest pop way!
