Week 3: 257.5 kilometers
Total: 671.6 kilometers
Whoa! Has it been three weeks already? I have no recollection of time I guess. I have made it very far and have enjoyed my every step! With every step I think and I love where my thoughts take me. I thank all those who have helped me make this dream come true and those who are with me each and every step.
Physically I am fine. My body is used to any changes that I have thrown at it and gladly accepts. Legs are strong and don’t feel sore one bit. Feet hurt a bit here and there but are also doing surprisingly well. My sandals on the other hand I think have just enough to make it to Finisterre so I can burn them per tradition. They have treated me well taking me all over jobs in the States, adventures in Costa Rica, Panama, Nicaragua and Guatemala. Now they have carried me across most of Spain. Thank you Merrell for making such a bad ass, tough, awesome to wear sandal! My favorite part is the toe guard. It’s a bit heavier but I have saved many broken toes in my many kilometers! It has been a great thing to have!
So this week was incredible! From Carrion los Condes all the way to VillaFranca de Bierzo! What an adventure! I traversed 257.5 kilometers this week bringing my total to 671.6 kilometers across Spain of walking with a little dancing :). I am so grateful for everyone who is supporting me with every step, I can truly feel it even though I don’t see or hear you. So much energy out there and it feels pretty amazing! I want to send a ripple through it all of pure love and happiness and see what happens! Only a little bit more to go on the Camino de Santiago but a never ending walk in the light of love!
Pura Vida y buen camino y adventure on! Siempre!
