After all of my fun in Austin hanging out with new GRAP family friends that i just made, I had to head out for my next adventure! I had to get up into Providence, RI to fly out to Germany in only a few days so off to the road I went.
I love driving, maybe because of the 2 years I was a professional truck driver, or just because I enjoy seeing all that there is to see. It was a great ride and super fun to meet some friends along the way! I managed to stop at Trident Sports HQ when I first headed out of Austin and it was great seeing the whole team again! The next night I had a pizza and wine date with the one and only Momma Quinn which was such a delight! In the morning after a few hours of driving, I had breakfast with my awesome friend Brandon Moore who I went to college with. It was great catching up for sure! Then after a few more hours of driving I took a little stretch break hanging out in the offices of Farber Corporation with more of my college buddies Matt Klingler and Kyle Rolf. It so cool that anywhere I stopped I had someone to call and hangout! A little later I had a coffee and chat with the sweet Stacy Kristoff who makes me smile more than anything! That night I was at my mom's house hanging out with my pup Mic! What a wild drive filled with so many great times meeting up with friends! It makes the trip seem like nothing even though it was roughly 26 hours of driving.
I stayed at my mom's house for a day to recharge then soon I was out to NYC or somewhere. I really had no plan at all. I did make it to NYC to see the lovely Christine Lynch and John Hirsch and my spirit animal, Coraline, who is their dog. While I was there I made a few calls and connected with more of my GRAP family in Boston! I made it there the next day and we enjoyed every minute of it. Then the next day I had the most chill day before heading out to Germany. I went to work with Rebecca, had lunch in the park, picked up Alex in a convertible with the top down and jammed out to music as we headed to Providence! It was such a fun day! Now off to Germany! Pura Vida!
